It is a game of logic that has 9x9 grids which has 9 columns, 9 rows and 9 squares. Each square must have numbers written by the player and only numbers 1-9 can be placed there. Its objective is to fill up all empty boxes with numbers without repeating any number in the same row, column and square. This puzzle has only one correct answer so it is important that one places down the best answer to one square. A series of wrong answers in other boxes are caused by one wrong answer. These numbers are interconnected that one number depends upon the surrounding numbers.


Players need not fill up all 81 empty boxes since some squares are filled up already as clues and that is good news. The easier the puzzle is, the more number filled up but in some instances placement of numbers makes the puzzle more difficult despite having a lot of clues.

Ready made techniques and strategies can be found over the net but strategies that you make yourself are unbeatable. You will most likely need some start up techniques if you are a beginner.
